About the Special Thai Project in Chiang Mai

The TEFL Special Program as the name suggests is special in its concept. It includes a 4 week intensive TESOL course which is an international TEFL teacher training certification course making one eligible to teach English abroad. The program also includes a 4 month paid job in Thailand @ 900 US$ per month.

Important dates for Special Thai Project in Chiang Mai

Date of landing
We have two program dates to choose from –

• 20th April, 2009

• 1st June 2009

Whichever program you choose, you must land not after Saturday as both programs are starting from Monday!

• Don't land later than 18th April 2009 for the program starting from 20th April

• Don't land later than 30th May 2009 for the program starting from 1st June

All our program starts on Monday sharp at 9 AM. We always recommend landing a few days earlier to get adapted to the place and for this we have arranged for accommodation from 12 noon of Saturday.

• Teachers landing before Saturday for their program date in Chiang Mai can arrange for their own stay and join us at our resort on Saturday from 12 noon. (address of accommodation will be emailed)

Accommodation

Our strategic alliance with Resort Group SINTHANA RESORT has helped us to provide with the best accommodation facility during the TEFL Course. Accommodation will be on double occupancy basis in the Hotel itself.

Visa

American TESOL Institute aims at sending the entire set of relevant Visa papers to the respective Thai Embassy / Consulate for processing, 1 month in advance, before the ESL teachers land.
