Airfare to Thailand

Thailand has always been the first choice for the travel bugs. The country has something to offer for everyone – from varied entertainments to numerous job opportunities for the westerners. No wonder the country is always buzzing with foreigners.

Airfares tend to be higher from June to August, during Christmas and New Year. Northwest and United Airlines fly to Bangkok from the US and cost a maximum of 1195 USD round trip. Korean Air is little cheaper than most airlines and charge around 900 USD. Cheaper travel options are the bucket shops which buy consolidated fares at a lower price. Many courier flights from Los Angeles and San Francisco charge only 1/3rd of the normal airfares but there are restrictions on luggage, length of stay and departure dates. You can try out Polo Express in San Francisco and Now Voyager in New York. Transitions Abroad offers many such advertisements.

Thai Airways is the national carrier of Thailand. Other notable international carriers that move into Bangkok are – Cathay Pacific, American Airlines, JAL, Air France, KLM, Swiss Air et al. These are some of the airlines which give out attractive packages and bargain deals from time to time.

The official website of Airport of Thailand Public Company Limited provides a detailed report on the airline movement in Thailand.
